Rubbish
There is no rubbish collection on the Mountain so all waste must be taken to the tip at Mt Nebo.
There are bins for recycling paper, glass, plastic, aluminium and steel.
There is also a Treasure Island where you can deposit and withdraw all sorts of things that may need a second home!

Schools
The only school on the mountain is the Mt Nebo Primary School. It caters for students from Prep through to Year 6. Contact the school for information relating to P&C, after-school care and Play Group.
There is a local bus service to and from the school, collecting students from along the range in the morning and returning them in the afternoons.

The Moreton Bay Regional Council has a mobile library which visits the mountain every two weeks on a Wednesday at:
- Camp Constable, Mt Glorious (11:30 am to 1:00 pm)
- and outside Mt Nebo Hall (2:00 to 3:30 pm).

A vibrant community choir meets weekly and often holds evenings at local functions.
