Community Project Proposals
The Community Association has accumulated more than sufficient financial resources to fund the original purpose for which the MGCA was established. It has also developed two robust sources of future funding, Community Hall Operations management and the annual Art with Altitude event, which will ensure growth of these financial resources into the future.
Although these funds are held by the MGCA, they belong to the Mount Glorious Community as a whole, not just the current members of the Association at any point in time.
Because these financial resources are available, the management committee has an obligation to deploy them for the benefit of the community. The management committee sees that the vehicle to do this is to fund projects that have broad community support and benefit the Mount Glorious community.
If you are a Mount Glorious resident and have a community project in mind, you can read the Community Proposal guidelines to make sure the project aligns with the Guidelines for Approval of Project Expenditure. If your project aligns, you can submit a proposal for us to review.
There is no specific proposal intake timeframe. We will always be open to reviewing proposals.
